Islamic Teachings For Children: -
Children start to learn from their parents, surrounding and environment from a very early stage. What they observe is retained in their minds forever. That is why early years are very important for a good future of children. Hence Islamic teachings must be imparted to children from a very young age. They must be inculcated about the basic Islamic concepts such as the Oneness of Allah, Finality of the Prophethood, the Holy Books and other important concepts. Children enjoy listening to stories so they must be told Islamic stories of Prophets, especially those with moral at the end.

Some Basics For A Day In The Life Of A Muslim Child: -
Following are some basic teachings with regard to a day in the life of a Muslim child.
While exiting from the washroom, the right foot must be set out first and this prayer must be said:
Ghufranaka. Alhamdu lillahilladhi adhaba anniladha wa'afani.
Upon the completion of ablution you must recite: -
Ash-hadu alla illallh wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu.
Apart from this Muslim children must be taught about basic morals such as telling truth, being honest and fair, obeying parents and taking care of cleanliness.
Following are some basic teachings with regard to a day in the life of a Muslim child.
- Children should be encouraged to get up early in the morning. When they reach the age of seven years they should start offering prayers. A day that begins with Fajar prayer is a day well spent. Children should be taught the supplication they must say when they get up in the morning: -
- Children should be taught the Islamic etiquette of entering the washroom. Left foot must be set first while entering the washroom and this supplication must be made.
While exiting from the washroom, the right foot must be set out first and this prayer must be said:

- Muslim children must be taught how to perform ablution. Children must also be taught about conservation of water. The Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) once said: -
Upon the completion of ablution you must recite: -
Ash-hadu alla illallh wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluhu.
- Muslim children must also be taught about table manners. Meals should begin with the name of Allah. If somebody forgets to say Bismillah he can say a prayer even in between of the meal. The prayer is: -
